Student Exam Instructions

Please read these instructions carefully before starting your exam. Following them will help you have a smooth experience.

Important Notice

This platform uses an anti-cheat monitoring system that actively tracks your behaviour during the exam. Any suspicious activity will be logged and may result in a reduced integrity score or your exam being automatically flagged.

Before You Start

Ensure you have a stable internet connection throughout the exam. A disconnection may be recorded as suspicious activity.

Use a laptop or desktop computer for the best experience. Mobile devices are supported but may be less comfortable for longer exams.

Close ALL other browser tabs and applications before starting. Open tabs will trigger violation alerts.

Check the exam duration before you begin. Once started, the timer cannot be paused or restarted.

Step-by-Step Guide

1

Go to the login page and enter your email and password. If you don't have an account, use the Sign Up option (if enabled by your admin).

2

Select Your Exam

From the Exam Lobby, find and click on the exam you want to take. Check the duration and availability before proceeding.

3

Read & Accept the Disclaimer

You must read and acknowledge the exam rules before starting. Tick the checkbox and click 'Start Exam'.

4

Go Fullscreen

The exam will request fullscreen mode. Accept this — exiting fullscreen will be recorded as a violation.

5

Answer Questions

Select your answer for each question. Use 'Next' and 'Previous' buttons to navigate between questions. You can change your answers anytime before submitting.

6

Review & Submit

Click 'Review' to see all your answered and unanswered questions at a glance. When ready, click 'Submit Exam'. You cannot change answers after submission.

What You Must NOT Do

The following actions are monitored and will reduce your integrity score:

Switch to another browser tab
Minimise or leave the exam window
Exit fullscreen mode
Right-click anywhere on the page
Copy or paste text (Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V)
Use keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Tab, Alt+Tab)
Open developer tools (F12)
Leave the browser window idle for too long

Understanding Your Integrity Score

Every student starts with a 100% integrity score. Each violation detected during the exam reduces your score by a penalty amount.

80% – 100%
Good Standing
60% – 79%
Caution
Below 60%
Auto-Flagged

If your integrity score drops below 60% or you accumulate more than 10 violations, your exam will be automatically flagged for review by the administrator.

Exam Timer & Auto-Submit

Each exam has a countdown timer displayed at the top of the screen. When the time runs out, your exam will be automatically submitted with whatever answers you have selected.

If the exam has a closing time (availability window), the timer will also account for that — so if you start close to the deadline, you may have less time than the full exam duration.

⚠ You cannot pause or restart the timer once you begin.

For Mobile Users

You can take exams on your phone, but please note:

  • Use Google Chrome or Safari for the best experience.
  • Enable fullscreen mode when prompted.
  • Do not switch apps, open notifications, or use split-screen mode.
  • Keep your screen on and avoid locking your phone.
  • The anti-cheat system also monitors mobile activity — switching apps will be detected.

After Submission

After submitting your exam, you will see a results summary showing:

  • Your exam score (percentage of correct answers)
  • Your integrity score for that session
  • Number of questions answered and correct answers
  • Total violations recorded

You will then be directed back to the Exam Lobby.
